The Secure Food Systems team conducts science-based risk assessment, research, outreach and engagement to prepare for plant and animal disease emergencies and support the continuity of business in the event of an outbreak. The team does this by pioneering strategies to mitigate risk, facilitating collaborative public-private-academic partnerships, responding to plant and animal disease emergencies, and delivering relevant outreach.
